Ok, so first off please answer if you won't be rude ;).


So I was at the store with my guy friend and I was (jokingly) going on and on about ';Edward';/Robert pattinson on all the magazine covers. My guy friend then said ';how'd you feel if I started talking about her?'; and he pointed to some random celebrity. My question is, why would he care who I was 'gushing' about? Can you please help me? I'm just confused, because my other guy friend doesn't say stuff like that. Thanks and no rude answers! ;)Sorry if this question is ridiculous but guys opinions please? I wouldn't necessarily read too much into that. He could simply be saying that you were boring him with your celebrity chatter. Guys don't care about celebs as much as girls do.

Either he likes you and dont like you talkin like that about other guys, or is jealous about that dude because every girl talks about him.
Maybe He Likes You and just got jealous or not....or he just wants to show how annoying it is to go on and on about one single person?

There is nothing wrong with u finding other people attractive.....he is prolly insecure....likes you and doesn't know how to tell you and getting jealous cos if he doesn't like u talking bout those on magazines....im sure he wont like u talking bout d guys u messing with and all.....i think he has a thing 4 u and just has not had s balls yet or doesn't wanna jeopardize d relationship........hope this helps......

He likes you. Its obvious. If he is kind of offended by your 'gushing' over the hot Edward/Rob Pattinson, that means he is jealous. If he is jealous that means he likes u. He asked u how would u feel if he started talking bout some celebrity girl, that means if u like him, you would be annoyed by him talking bout girls and not noticing u. I guess he liked u thats why he got annoyed with the gushing over the hot pattinson. ALSO, there could be another reason. He also might've just got annoyed by gushing, i mean sometimes u c ur friends gushing over cute guys and ur like ';UGHH can u stop? How would u feel if i went on and on and on gushing over him?'; so it may be that he is just annoyed because well more than half of America thinks Edward Cullen is hot. (Im one of them)

His obvious insecurity is not lame. One time on TV, there was show for teens and the episode was about sexual harassment.





They said to a group of girls ';how often have you talked about the opposite sex in a sexual way in front of another member of the opposite sex?'; Then they zoomed in on the guy they were with and he was looking down kind of embarrassed.





In short, when you'ree talking, ';Robert P is cute';, he hears ';You'ree not as cute as RP';





Compliment him more often, and stop saying things like that, unless you want to bruise his ego. It's natural and it happens to everyone, whether you notice it or not.





**Edit** It doesn't necessarily mean he's jealous. And don't even consider that unless you've seen signs that ';he likes'; likes you.
Again, don't overthink this. Maybe he was annoyed because of excessive, childish gushing over someone you've never met. Maybe he likes you and would rather have you gush over him. I agree with another answerer that a fair point has been made--would you like some guy you are with to gush over the Playmate/Pet of the Month while you stand there?





Maybe he just felt awkward, because, if he's str8, he really can't have a response to what you are saying other than to wait it out...he can't share your giggly-girl passion for pics of a guy. If you are not bi, can you ';get into'; a guy going on about some hot babe who isn't you? Not much for you to do, right? You can't share in the guy's lust for the woman if you don't get into chicks.





Don't worry or obsess. The fact that you asked the question the way you did makes me think that you like him and that's why this somehow matters to you. ;-)
