Hi I was Wondering If anybody could give some advise on how to deal with some issues going on in my life right now?
About 5 months ago my mother, brother, and myself got evicted from our Apartment. This isn't the first time this has happened either. We had to move in to a 2 bedroom apartment with a friend of my moms. My moms friend has her bedroom, and my mom, brother, and I share another bedroom. I've learned to cope with the fact that my mother is having some financial difficulty, and the best thing I can do right now is help her out in anyway I can.
But as time goes on, I keep feeling more and more frustrated with my mom until the point where I just can't be around her and avoid her anyway I can (usually by going to the room). I feel as though she doesn't mind that we are 'homeless' and are all three living in one room with two beds (ones an air mattress). She isn't looking for an apartment and spends her money on going out to eat, and other silly things that aren't necessities. The thing that set me off the edge is that she is planning a 8 day trip to disneyland for the fall!.!
It seems like I am the one looking out for the family, looking up apartments and how much they charge in rent, making sure my brother gets off the bus safely. I don't know what to do.
She also doesn't pay much attention to me and my brother anymore. Shes a ';Twilight Mom'; and is obsessed with Twilight and Robert Pattinson. It makes me sick how a 34 year old is that immature.
Unfortunatly this has taken a really big toll on me. About 3 weeks ago I cut myself. I've done it 3 times since then, but not in the last week :/ My grades are slipping, and are becoming extremely low. It seems as though every little thing my friends do irritates me. I just don't know what to do.
I've tried talking to her about it, but it doesn't help anything, she just laughs. I can't talk to any family members (we don't really have any), and the school counselor is out of the question.
I'm trying to make my brothers life better than mine, but that's incredibly hard to do when you have no money or even a place to call your own.
I just need some advise.
By the way I'm a 15 year old girl and my brother is 9.Help..? Advise On My Mom Please?
Have you talked to your mom about how you feel? Tell her everything. If she doesn't listen, you may want to go for family counseling or something. I don't know where you live but here in Canada when we are 15 years old we can get a small job like at a restaurant. Why don't you secretly try making some money, plus that way you won't have to be around her all day.

Talk to your mom instantly. It's the only thing that will solve these emotional issues and constraints between you and your mom. Tell her exactly what you told us and how you feel that you are the only one taking responsibility for these various issues. Explain to her ALL your thoughts and feelings and how she HAS to save money for ESSENTIALS. An 8-day trip to Disney probably will cost around 500 dollars including ticket money, transportation, food, etc. Tell her that she HAS to cancel the trip, and save the money.

You say the school councilor is out of the question but perhaps you should rethink that. They can help you with the stress you are under and perhaps give you some guidance for dealing with your mom.
Frankly she sounds like she is trying to still be a teenager herself, it isn't fair to you and it isn't fair to your brother.
I hope things work out for you.
You say the counselor is out of the question, but I'm not so sure, they helped me out.
If you really can't speak to him/her, phone up a freephone child help line and see what they say.
Otherwise, see your local doctor/GP and ask to speak with their councilor.
Just don't cut your self, punch the mattress instead, I do this when I need to. You are not to blame, remember this.
Also, read some books. None of my friends think much if them, but hey, none of my friends think much at all.
Read: The Catcher in the Rye, you might like it, you might not, but read it anyway, it's a very famous short book.
If you like watching films, watch Stand by Me, if you haven't all ready, it's up on youtube. Great boy film, of course girls will like it and understand it too.
I have a little sister and I've had to defend her through many months of domestic violence that occurred in my household. Not fun at all I know, and parents are supposed to be always in the right? Bollox.
If your mother is ******* things up, tell her so. My father was a good man, yet he abused my mother, and left me confused and angry. I didn't want my sister to feel the same as me, and he's gone now.
And believe me, I've wanted to kill my self many a time, and if it wasn't for the knowledge that I had to look after my sibling, I may not be alive today.
Have strength, try hard at the subjects you like, you may go far one day so do not give In.
And remember, situations change like the wind, one day, far from this day, you'll be happy you made It through.
p.s. Your mothers behavior if linked to her own past, she likely did not get the chance to be a kid, and so now she may be acing like one.
This is why it is important for YOU to find a way of enjoying your own years as a kid.
Cry when you need to, be your self.

WHat does her friend that you are living with say? Maybe she can help you talk to your mom. Sounds like mom needs a reality check and needs to grow up a bit.

Need help on my review?
can someone read this review about new moon (the book),and tell me how i can improve this. can you also help me out on building up a few scentences.p.s havent finished yet but could do with some help!

These things are the colors that add depth into her writing and the picture she is trying to paint. “I felt like I was trapped in one of those terrifying nightmares, the one where you have to run, run till your lungs burst, but you can’t make your body move fast enough”. This is an example of her description. I also like the way she described the relationship between Jacob and Edward. To Bella, Edward was air to breathe or a drug. Jacob, was a sun spreading warmth, light and happiness. New Moon will leave you astonished. It unwinds your imagination and is beyond our world today, as fantasy and romance collide.

How do you guys feel about the New Moon Soundtrack?
To tell you the truth I was kinda disappointed in it. I really thought Paramore was gonna be in it. Their songs fit so well with Twilight so I was kinda disappointed they weren't on the New Moon soundtrack (cause everyone was saying they were gonna be on it...got my hopes up lol). I was also kinda sad that Robert Pattinson wasn't singing on it either :( I think the fact that he sings is so sexy...although im not really attracted to him in genereal but that fact that he plays Edward Cullen and sings makes him so attractive to me. Don't get me wrong I do like the new songs on the soundtrack but I just loved the Twilight soundtrack so much!!! Idk maybe i gotta hear the songs in New Moon and see how it plays out. Well i was and still am in love with twilight. My personal opinion is that Rob and paramore should have definitely been on the soundtrack. The songs on the new soundtrack do not match the mood and the setting of new moon. New Moon has a very depressed feel and i would have loved to hear some Paramore songs on there. I am disappointed but can't wait till the soundtrack comes out.
And i defiantly think that Rob Pattinson is SEXAYY

Twilight was a terrible film adaption of a, let's face it, mediocre novel. I went into the theater with an open mind, not expecting brilliance, but expecting to be entertained. Well, I guess I was technically entertained since I laughed throughout most of the movie. Sadly, I wasn't laughing at purposely funny moments. I was laughing at the awkward ';acting'; of the actors and the terrible dialogue.
Now this is where it gets tricky: Do we blame the screenwriter or the author? The movie made me realize just how corny the book's dialogue was. I found myself rolling my eyes, when I wasn't laughing, at every word out of the actor's mouth. Especially the dialogue between Edward and Bella. Now, the dialogue could have been over looked if the actors were able to deliver them. Alas, whoever decided to do casting for this film decided to cast every ';actor'; with the acting ability of a toaster. Now, a toaster is a inanimate object and therefore cannot act. Get the hint? What made me laugh the hardest was at the end of the movie when Bella's mother decides to inform Phil VIA TEXT MESSAGE that Bella is alright. I was so shocked that she was really texting him that I turned to my friend and whispered ';Bella's okay, L-O-L';. Really, though. Text messages? I would think that informing your potential spouse of your child's well being would warrant a phone call at least.
Now, I have to point out the scene where Edward decides to flash Bella the goods. He want's to educate her in the ways of the vampire. He cannot go out into sunlight NOT because he'll burn or turn to dust, but because he turns into a failed children's art project. Reading the scene in the book I already knew whoever turned the book into a film was going to have issues with the scene. However, I really thought they'd aim for something above spraying Robert Pattinson with water then dumping craft store glitter on him. I didn't even notice the ';sparkles'; at first. My friend turned to me and commented ';The sun hits him and he gets gross and sweaty?'; because, let's face it, that's what he looked like. Damp and dirty. Oh baby, I can hardly contain myself! I could go on and nit pick at everything, but I'm just going to wrap it up and say this movie was awful and I'm disappointed in the screenwriter as well as the director. I feel like Hardwicke was too focused on making the mise-en-scene beautiful and aesthetically pleasing, which is all well and good, but in doing so she over looked her cast of actors who would probably get over looked at a high school play audition with the way they displayed their acting abilities in this movie. Though, maybe I take back the part of being disappointed in the screenwriter since you can only do so much with the source material you're handed.

Your ideas are great. Maybe you could make your own online magazine! You could create a website and people would give you their e-mail addresses and you could send them an online magazine every month or so. Then tell Stephenie about it, and she might consider it!
I don't know if you still can email Stephenie...you could try checking her website for a ';contact me'; link, or messaging her on Myspace, but she gets thousands of emails daily, and I doubt she answers them herself.

Would you recommend an acting coach?
Okay, so I've always been told I'm a ';great actress'; from family and friends and teachers, but lately and a lot of times, I really don't feel like it. I have a low confidence level when I'm on stage and I become embarrassed when told I'm doing something completely wrong, and mad if I'm told it repeatedly. I love my drama teacher at my school, but I don't think she's helping me much. I have been thinking about having acting as a career as an adult, and hopefully going to Yale for that, but I know that I have to overcome my low self confidence on stage or when I do something wrong. But I need help with that, an dI don't know what or who else to turn to for that. And my grades are falling too, so that is making it even more once since I'm usually a strait A student. I don't know what to do. Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are my idols at the moment because of how great of actors they are and how they got discovered (and because Twilight was THE BEST movie ever. I saw it tonight). And I was thinking maybe an acting coach would help me with that? What do they do? Could they help me with what I want? And also, I'm good at acting normal, like people do in movies and stuff, or romance stuff, but the totally dramatic ';NOOO!'; moment when someone dies or something, I can't do. It's just awkward. I can't do the sobbing ';boo hoo'; totally over the top dramatic stuff. Just like the movie stuff I've noticed. And we are doing Our Town s our school play and I got the lead Emily and the end she's all ';goodbye world!'; and stuff, and it's weird. Could an acting coach help me with all of this? I would really like to pursue my dreams. Would you recommend an acting coach?
Don't feel embarrassed. It's going to take a lot of restraint, but don't. You're only going to annoy the director that way, and it's not productive. If you were a professional, you probably would hurt your chances of getting work.
You're not doing anything *wrong*. That's not what it's about. The director is feeling his or her way through the production just as much as you are feeling your way through the character. It's a discovery process, and no one has all of the answers. Okay? You're fine. The director's job is to help refine your performance while telling a story.
Stop thinking about acting in terms of ';dramatic'; and ';normal'; and think of acting in terms of reality. You are *being* someone, you're not *pretending* to be someone. You're not being a stereotype or an emotion, you're being a real person in real time. If you don't do it in real life, don't do it on stage. You're not going, ';Oh, this is what I'm supposed to do.'; Acting is about acting and *re*acting. If you're thinking too much about what you're doing instead of just doing it, then likely, you're doing it wrong.
I wouldn't go with an acting coach, but if you want to, fine. Go ahead. Just make sure you research him or her and make sure that they have actually had reputable experience.
Personally, I would wait until you're older and audition for acting colleges. I recommend this to just about everyone because I feel it's the best way to get the training you need. They provide everything for you, and you'll be older: you'll have a crystallized idea of what you want to do with your life regarding your career, and you'll have a better emotional register (which it sounds like you have a real problem accessing at the moment. You'll outgrow it.)

It all started as a joke.
Everyday at lunch she would get up from the table, grab a plastic knife from a small container, and start cutting her wrists, encouraging the three of us to laugh with her, make fun of her stupidity. I was worried, but too afraid to stand up to our group’s nonofficial leader to rebel against what we were laughing about. Luckily, I had enough intelligence to realize if I had one more slip-up, everyone would kick me out of our posse. I was too afraid a year ago. I was too worn down from people stepping all over me to fight back. I was just a background idiot in my friends’ lives, just another person trying to blend in with everyone else. Well, back to the knife incidents. Whenever her wrist started bleeding, she would start fake crying. “Acting,” she called it. “Just in case this will ever fit a role for me in a couple years. It’s for the audience. Everything is.” It was so believable only because she was the actress, the singer, the perfect girl in everyone’s minds, but really, as I would soon learn, she wasn’t as perfect as she played it out to seem like.
“So, I’ve heard so much gossip about Twilight. It’s, like, the best movie of all time. I mean, Robert Pattinson is starring in it, and it’s all about cute guys like Edward and Jacob; I’m on team Edward of course. Anyway, it’s a love story and Bella rocks!” Gabby babbled. She could talk about silly Twilight and not be killed by Mairead, the depressed freak while one negative comment on the series from me and I would be the laughingstock of the whole school in less than ten minutes. Maya and Gabby had freedom, they deserved to be in the group as Mairead saw it, while my intelligence never got me anywhere in life. I just sat around like nothing waiting for Mairead to live out my life for me. She took total charge of my life and clearly went out of her way to make sure I turned out to be her little minion as Maya and Gabby seemed to be becoming. They were fine with it while I urged to be my own person. It was harder than it seemed and I felt like nobody understood what was going on in my complicated life I wasn’t living like I wanted to. That lunchtime was the longest half hour of my life, or so it seemed.
Immediately after lunch I caught up with my best guy friend Alex in the hallway and in truth, I wanted to cry about my life to him and tell him that I didn’t think I would survive. Of course, I couldn’t. He understood how to laugh and joke with me better tan anyone else I knew, but he couldn’t talk for one minute about emotions and troubles. I knew him better than that and refused to risk my friendship with him for stupid emotional girly crap. We just chatted about low-key terms like our algebra homework and our weird teachers, not going beyond my older brother trying to break my foot. It was freedom to talk about whatever I felt and just be myself, the girl who liked to laugh and talk about which football teams were the best. A break from the popular girls who wanted me to be one of them and threatened to ruin my reputation if I didn’t.
“Here’s our study hall,” I said as we arrived in Miss Flynn’s room. Miss Flynn was a great teacher. She was young and her students trust her enough to walk up to her and ask about what they should do about their problems. She was everyone’s favorite teacher and had her quirks, just like all of us kids.
“Hey kids. Take a seat anywhere,” Miss Flynn said, smiling as we and a group of chatty girls walked in the door. We sat at a seat in the back so we could make noise and not disrupt Miss Flynn too much because although she is a really cool teacher, she gives out detention twice as much as stupid Mrs. Dykstra who had temper issues. I think Dykstra’s going to a therapist once a week lately. I sometimes wish the people at our school were somewhat normal.
“So, do you understand this algebra, Sue?” Alex asked shyly. For some reason, he always acted shy and silly around me, sometimes teasing me to get on my nerves.
“Of course I do. I don’t mean to brag, but I’m at the top of my Honors Algebra class. Let’s see. Simplify the expression 2x-1x+4x. This is so easy. The answer is--,” I began.
“Dude, you don’t have a future as a math tutor. I’ll go to Mrs. Francis’s room and ask her for help. Maybe she won’t go around blurting out the answers,” he interrupted, somewhat rudely. We waved and I just sat alone, since besides Mairead, Maya, Gabby and a few other boys, Alex is my only friend. For a moment, I wished for life to be different, for me to be one of those girls who had a whole crowd of friends surrounding her every moment, but realizing that I would need to change my personality drastically, I changed my mind.
I survived the rest of the day, the rest of the week, the rest of the month. January and February passed pretty easily with teasing here and there at lunch, but I lived. March became the worst month Do you like this story that I am writing? It's just the beginning.?

I really like this. It pulled me in talking about the girl (Gabby, I think it was) although it seemed that just as I was learning more about her, you started talking about Alex and their study hall and algebra just when I thought we were going to hear more about Gabby. There were little grammar and spelling flaws, but they weren't that bad and I do think it's a great beginning - I've written and read a lot of stories myself and this looks like one I would like to see on the shelf at my local library.

Does anyone else have a love-hate relationship with Twilight?
Okay, I know this book is not the best written book I've ever read, but I still find myself drawn to it and it's storyline. I think it's a cute, innocent romance novel, which is refreshing after reading adult romance for 10 years. That alone has made me want to reread it. BUT, I also see all the things that makes it not one of the best written books to ever grace my bookshelf and I see the under-developed plots, and IMO, under-developed characters. But, I'm a romance fan, so I love how the romance if presented in the novel.
It's the same with the movies. I think Twilight was one of the worst directed movies and it was horribly acted. I think the secondary actors did a much better acting job than kirstin stewart and robert pattinson. BUT, I still watch it from time-to-time. New Moon was much better, but it still lacked in some areas, and I do like the technology used.
So, there are some days that I hate Twilight and there are some days when I love it and want to watch the movie or read the book over and over again. Anyone else have a love-hate relationship with Twilight?Does anyone else have a love-hate relationship with Twilight?

i am absolutely love love love twilight saga!! it is my all time fave books. but i agree, what were they thinking with twilight the movie? it was really bad. i just personally don't like catherine hardwickes directing.
yeah kinda- i loved the books absolutely but i hated what catherine did to the film. the acting was rubbish and it was directed so so badly. also the random scenes that had nothing to do with the book made it even worse.
however i think the new moon film was alot better and alot closer to the book :)
I do with the books. I can read all of the books one day and the next day I'm thinking about how stupid the characters are. Like in Breaking Dawn, Bella wanted to die for a vampire baby, that made me so frustrated I stopped reading it because she sounds so stupid.

I barely finished the first book because of how I disliked the writing. The only reason I did finish it is because I hate quitting something halfway.

Is my friend transgendered?
My friend (a girl) thinks she might be transgendered. We've known each other for a long time, since we were little, and are really close. We've always told each other everything. We had a normal friendship, but then around age four, she expressed the desire to wear boys clothing.
So she did. And she was your typical tomboy. Wearing boy's clothes, playing sports, hanging out with the boys--she did it all. It was like this until around the middle of 6th grade (we were both 12) when she thought she might be a little too old for that. She felt uncomfortable wearing boy's clothing and felt pressured to conform to society's standards I suppose. So she gradually stopped dressing like a boy and wore more girly things.
We're both in 8th grade now, and the process of transforming herself into a more girly person hasn't been completed yet. Not so much as in the clothing, but in her personality. She told me that she's been having doubts about who she really is, and her sexuality too. Sometimes, she'll think girls are pretty, but she never has any interest in doing anything with them. But with boys, she's very picky, and selective. She thinks that because she doesn't like most guys whom others think are good looking (Robert Pattinson for example), she isn't straight. She's had dreams about being a boy before, and she was really unsure about the whole idea. Do you think she might be transgendered/lesbian/bisexual/whatever? How do you tell?Is my friend transgendered?
Just because she likes guy clothing, does not make her transgendered. I don't know who determined what is male and female clothing. To be honest, if guys started wearing dresses, that would be absolutely fine by me. I wouldn't think it's weird at all.
It irks me how society is all about being ';normal'; and fitting in. Seriously, you shouldn't worry about that. Having a fulfilled life requires being yourself.

You're in the 8th grade, your friend is still probably just figuring it themselves.
She might be, but YOU can't tell her who she is or isn't.
Its for her to figure out for herself, and it could take some time for her to sort out her feelings.
I would advise her to stay open to possibilities, be honest with herself about who she's attracted to and not attracted to, and not to rush to judgment or to be in a hurry to label herself.
Anything is possible, but it doesn't really matter. The only person it does really matter to is the person involved. And although you might like to help this person, they are the ones who have to figure it out for themselves. Self-acceptance is a very individual thing and can't be rushed. This is especially true for transsexual people, where the process can take years or even decades.
Just continue to be the good, supportive friend that you are, they will appreciate that.

So she did. And she was your typical tomboy. Wearing boy's clothes, playing sports, hanging out with the boys--she did it all. It was like this until around the middle of 6th grade (we were both 12) when she thought she might be a little too old for that. She felt uncomfortable wearing boy's clothing and felt pressured to conform to society's standards I suppose. So she gradually stopped dressing like a boy and wore more girly things.
We're both in 8th grade now, and the process of transforming herself into a more girly person hasn't been completed yet. Not so much as in the clothing, but in her personality. She told me that she's been having doubts about who she really is, and her sexuality too. Sometimes, she'll think girls are pretty, but she never has any interest in doing anything with them. But with boys, she's very picky, and selective. She thinks that because she doesn't like most guys whom others think are good looking (Robert Pattinson for example), she isn't straight. She's had dreams about being a boy before, and she was really unsure about the whole idea. Do you think she might be transgendered/lesbian/bisexual/whatever? How do you tell?Is my friend transgendered?
Just because she likes guy clothing, does not make her transgendered. I don't know who determined what is male and female clothing. To be honest, if guys started wearing dresses, that would be absolutely fine by me. I wouldn't think it's weird at all.
It irks me how society is all about being ';normal'; and fitting in. Seriously, you shouldn't worry about that. Having a fulfilled life requires being yourself.
Oh, and just because she doesn't like Robert Pattinson, doesn't mean she's lesbian lol... we all have different tastes. I think she might be lesbian and using that as a convenient way to come out. That's just my guess, though. I don't want to put words in her mouth.

I think she's a normal human being!! You need to leave her alone, and let her decide her own actions/choices in her life. Grow up, and realize you shouldn't transform someone. They should become who they want to be. Don't be a little immature stereotype..

She might be, but YOU can't tell her who she is or isn't.
Its for her to figure out for herself, and it could take some time for her to sort out her feelings.
I would advise her to stay open to possibilities, be honest with herself about who she's attracted to and not attracted to, and not to rush to judgment or to be in a hurry to label herself.
Anything is possible, but it doesn't really matter. The only person it does really matter to is the person involved. And although you might like to help this person, they are the ones who have to figure it out for themselves. Self-acceptance is a very individual thing and can't be rushed. This is especially true for transsexual people, where the process can take years or even decades.
Just continue to be the good, supportive friend that you are, they will appreciate that.

Can you help me with this traumatic dream?
I just woke up from this dream about an hour ago, so please forgive me if I go all over the place. I'm also really tired, since I was only asleep for a couple hours before waking up from this.
I'll explain what could have caused this dream first, maybe that will be easier?
I saw the movie, Remember Me yesterday. If you don't want to know what happens in it, don't read on! *SPOILER*
I knew something bad was going to happen when I heard the characters talking about labor day....I started freaking when, Tyler (the main character) left a note for Ally saying he was going to his dad's office...and then the music started playing and then they showed (Tyler's little sister) Caroline's school chalk board, where it had the date. It said 09/11/2001....... that's when I started getting super nervous/afraid....then when Tyler got to his dad's office, and his dad called him telling him he would be late, I totally lost it! I started crying all over the place and shaking.....My mom was trying to hand me tissues, and telling me it would be alright. The music starts getting real sad and everything turns into slow motion like feeling when Tyler is taking the elevator with a ton of people....When in the office, Tyler sits down at his dad's desk and moves the computer mouse....After that, a slideshow of pictures of the family over the years appears...and a smile appears on his face, as if it were he finally knew his dad loved him. Then, the movie builds up to this shot...where Tyler walks across the room to one of the huge windows.....I was already freaking out there, BUT THEN the most horrible part happens for me....there's this shot of him looking out the window, just watching the sky...they show the building, and you can clearly see it's one of the two towers....:( THAT SHOT was horrific for me....really horrifying me to death...I was almost screaming...mom kept telling me ';He's not really dead'; She was referring to Robert Pattinson, the actor who plays Tyler...but whatever she would say wasn't helping me......Then it shows everyone watching the planes hit....most of the characters start to cry..and that just made me cry a thousand times more.....
WELL anyway, I cried for a long time after the movie was over (around an hour) I thought the movie had a great message of ';live your life to the fullest, because you never know when your last moment may be.';....but the ending really was heart wrenching for me....they didn't even show the plane or anything, but they did show people running to see what happened, and tons of ashes.....I felt like I was reliving 9/11....
Now to my more horrifying dream. :( As if it could get any worse right?!:(

When I eventually got to the building, I walked to the elevator. I waited for it to open with a couple other people. We made small chitchat about how our days were. When I got in the elevator, multiple people were already in. I think I pressed a 7 and an 8 but not absolutely sure. I was getting a little light headed and I was thinking ';I hate elevators....they always makes me nervous'; I remember my hands were shaking a little bit. I walked to the desk lady and told her I was going into my dads office to wait for him. She told me to go ahead in. I went through the door and looked around the room. I never was in his office alone before. I took a deep breath and smelt the air. I could tell it smelt like air freshener...everything seemed fresh. I went to take a seat at my dad's desk chair. Used to be that leaving on a jet plane was one of my favorite songs to sing in my car. The events of 9/11 were quite a shock. I was singing leaving on a jet plane on my way to Walmart a couple days later. I was on my way into the Walmart parking lot, and started thinking about how many people said the sort of things that were said in the song on that morning. Wound up broken down crying in Walmart parking lot and people staring at me wondering what the hell my problem was. I haven't been able to sing that song through since. I try once in awhile, and can't without breaking down into tears. A favorite song has become a symbol of such a day that cannot be erased, even by the 30 some years I enjoyed singing it before then.
As for your dream: Honestly, I don't under stand what is so horrifying in there. You seem to feel that there is a link between your reaction to the movie, and the dream you post under it. I haven't seen the movie, so I guess there must be some references in your dream that I don't understand.
You've got a scene where you are communicating with your brother that things are getting better, a scene where you are thinking about your little sister and feeling protective of her, one where you are thinking about a friend, and apparently about a reconciliation with her after a situation of some kind, one where you are getting to know your father apart from the person who comes home to you each night, where you understand that he thinks about you more than you know, and you find some compassion for him, honestly, I'm at a loss to understand what is so horrifying, or what the link is, it seems throughout the dream you are thinking about all the people you love in your life, and appreciating them, so, I dunno, I guess I just don't get it this time around, were you seeing all these things from the view point of the characters in the movie? Is that the part you find so horrifying, identifying with these people? Looking at the very end of your dream, that is the part that could be perhaps horrifying? It seems that at the very end, you put yourself in the place of someone looking out an office window as one of those planes flew in. It also seems as though throughout the process of ';dying'; in the end of the dream, that you received a revelation. How do I know if I'm Dying?

I'm weird and I think girls think that I'm weird which is a problem, its also probably why they don't wan't to date me. I'm not bad looking, in fact everyone calls me Robert Pattinson which is annoying because thats not my name... but apparently I look like him, which figures... I guess... because I do. The problem is that I have very high standards and am attracted to only very good looking girls (because I'm shallow... and a teenager... with a big ego). The problem with this is that all the good looking girls no theyre good looking and act as you'd expect a good looking girl to act, now this is where the real problem lies because I really loathe good looking girls who know theyre good looking and act as you'd expect a good looking girl to act. So where does that leave me...
To summarise - I'm a good looking weirdo fancying girls I hate and liking girls I find repulsive, I'm a shallow, undignified 17 year old with his head in the clouds... I stand alone in front of the panel pretending to enjoy a life I don't understand, but will any of my thoughts succeed in breaking through into the realm of this immortal reality... probably not... and does any of the last 5 lines make and sense... probably not ... and does that bother you? ... probably not... I'm weird and I think girls think that I'm weird which is a problem, its also probably why they don't wan't to date me. I'm not bad looking, in fact everyone calls me Robert Pattinson which is annoying because thats not my name... but apparently I look like him, which figures... I guess... because I do. How tight is too tight for jeans on a guy?
girls what do you think? guys? I just saw on the news that some kid got taken outta school because his jeans were too tight and were ';distracting'; but when I saw him with them on, they were NO WHERE near as tight as I thought they were gonna be. is my sense of judge ment off? to give you an image of how tight they were, imagine robert pattinson or google him and look at how tight his jeans are- thats the way they were. Okay, so my last question, round for round harry Potter vs. Twilight, was removed because some Twilighter didn't want to accept the truth. So, I decided to step it up and debunk some of their major arguments for Twilight's superiority over Harry potter, or for Harry's inferiority to Twilight.
Argument 1: Harry sold more because there are more books in the series.
Rebuttal: This arguments is absolute bollocks. The first Potter book sold 120 million copies, so it outsells the entire Twilight saga by itself. The last Potter book sold 44 million copies, also outselling the Twilight saga.
Argument: Harry sells more because he's been around longer.
Rebuttal: Nope, sorry. Harry has sold about 440 million books and has been around since 1996, meaning that he's sold about 33.85 million books every year since his release. Twilight has sold about 42 million in four, meaning that it's sold 10.5 million every since it's release. So, even if Harry had been released even two years ago, he'd still outsell Twilight.
Argument 3: HP aren't as cool as Twilighters.
Rebuttal: Being a nerd is better than being a stalker. Do you have any idea how many times Robert Pattinson (Cedric Diggory to HP fans), has complained about the fans? Have you ever heard Daniel Radcliffe complain about Potterheads? Nope.

All I can say is that Harry Potter is more substantial than the redundancy of Twilight. But the attractive point of Twilight is the romance and being a vampire as an obstacle. With that in mind, I have no idea why comparisons are being made between both series.

So, I had one of those awesome dreams where everything feels so real. It was in color (as are all of my dreams) and I could vividly remember what I was thinking in certain parts of the dream. Anyway...
I was in a strange neighborhood that was unfamiliar, but it looked extremely exclusive and rich. My family was planning on moving there (I'm 15). The house had a waterfall and was made of stone, it was a mansion. I was driving past it with some people I didn't know to a different, smaller house. I don't remember much, but I do remember hooking up at this house with my dream guy (I don't know him in real life, but more like how I envision my perfect boyfriend). We went all the way, and I could feel every single touch and feeling in the dream. I remember vivid details; I woke up feeling different. Anyway, once we were finished, he jokingly poured fake blood on the couch (the owner of the house was an elder woman who was strict about cleanliness) and I had to scrub it up, but he was joking with me and making me laugh. The woman who owned the house came to pick us and some other girls my age up. I was the last to get dressed, and she was a nice, though strict woman. I was in my school uniform (none of the kids I was with go to my school in real life) with the other kids, and we went to what looked like a ballroom in a hotel, but there was barely anyone there. The girls were rich, and called me 10 cents and made fun of me while the boy I had been with was working. He occasionally looked over and smiled at me, but said nothing in front of his friends. I'm remember going to a girl in the room who I did like who was my friend in real life and complaining, and admitting my love for the unattainable, most handsome guy in the town. Then I found out that he was with the meanest of the girls named Mimi, and that they were a thing. I instantly stood up, and began to walk from the room, and I was aware that the guy was following me. He followed me through three rooms with other people in them, but he was always at least 20 feet behind me. We were both walking at a normal pace. I reached outside the hotel/ballroom, and made my way down to the middle of the stairs and sat down. It was night, and I stared at the only window in the huge building that was lit up (every other window was dark, except the one window on the top floor, at the end), while looking at the guy out of the corner of my eye as he chatted conversationally with some older men. I looked away, and then looked back at the window, and the light was out. Then, the dream started to fade, as did their voices, and he started to descend the stairs toward me...and I woke up.
For some general facts, I just dumped my boyfriend of 6 months because of lost feelings on my part yesterday, and I had the dream last night. And the man in the dream closely resembled Robert Pattinson, for some reason. Thanks for your help!Amazing dream, can someone interpret?
haha sounds like a pretty good dream! haha iv had those kind of dreams where it feels like your there and its really happening...not all the time but rarely so i know what you mean...any way i can really never tell what my dreams are about or telling me, usually they are just random like with yours and that whole fake blood thing...haha that was really random...but the strong feelings that you felt could be from the strong feelings that you have towards something maybe subconsciously....you know...like it represents something? i dont really know you so i cant say what but yeah, that's my guess....and the thing with the window(which to me sounded pretty awesome!)...that could really be interpreted as lots of things..the light being turned off when you looked back could be like the end of something or feelings changing.....idk :/ im not very good at this kind of stuff, i don't even understand my own dreams haha ... sorry i couldn't be more help! it really seemed like a cool dream :)

Your dream to me, seems to just express what you went through in losing feelings for your boyfriend (in the dream you had this connection and intimacy with that guy but then by the end of the dream you both were distant and you found out he was being dishonest. This may just seem to resemble your current situation, I think you made the right decision, but maybe your dream is a way to let you know that the breakup still doesn't seem easy on you but you can't give up hope and deep inside you know you are worth better.

Prom hairstyles for men?
Right, theres a really important prom coming up in a day for me and i need to sort out my hair for it. My hair's a literal mess to be honest as in the following picture. I was thinking of cutting it shorter for the prom but got no idea how i should do it. I had a couple of suggestions below, but i wana know what you may think that could be done to my hair. Please show pictures if possible, so i can tell the hairdresser tomorrow.

For all it's flaws, we still have the best healthcare system in the world, which is why those with money come from all over the world to have important procedures done. Socializing it isn't going to improve anything. It will just drag down the top and reduce our system to that of the communist countries. Talk radio like Rush or Hannity would do you some good if you're really interested in finding out what's really behind the issues. Every time I look into Edward's eyes, I thought drawlingly, romantically, I see the pure, perfect love in his, staring back at me, and I imagine him whispering, Elsie, my love, sleep, you are the only one who has ever touched my heart... Like he said to Bella in Eclipse, the most amazing, romantic book in the world. My mind flashed to page 85 in Breaking Dawn, and I imagined myself with Edward in Bella's place, and couldn't help the girlish squeal that escaped me as I pictured his divine face. I ran and skipped around the house, humming bella's lullaby and imagining him with me in the meadow, whispering in his velvet voice into my ear.

What Did You Think Of The Twilight Movie?
Instead of going into a paragraph after paragraph rant, I'll just make a list of Pros, Cons, and Neutrals.
Pros:
1) It was extremely funny. Even if I wasn't supposed to laugh at some parts.
2)The girl that played Alice was AMAZING! Even though she had only...6 lines, she embodied her literary counterpart. Kudos to her.
3)Billy Burke as Charlie stole the show in a lot of the scenes. My favorite part was the whole ';meet my boyfriend'; scene when he was looking at his gun.
4) The Cullen kitchen scene. PRICELESS! The whole ';Her name's Bella. That's Italian.'; from Emmett make me chuckle but when Rosalie broke the glass, I knew that I would never forget that scene.
5)The baseball scene up until the nomads came. I love the Muse's song playing in the background.
6)Jasper's Johnny Depp/Willy Wonka face throughout the whole movie! XD Every time he was in a scene, everyone started cracking up. I'm sure those were a lot of the times when we shouldn't have been laughing.
7)How we could see the contrast between rainy Forks and sunny, golden brown Arizona. The scenery was beautiful.
8)The Cullens' house. I want it.
9) Rosalie vs. Bella. I will admit that it was done well.
Neutrals:
1)The special effects could've been better. The sparkling Edward was disappointing a little bit.
2)The make up was...okay. Like the special effects, it could've been better.
3) The humans (besides Bella). They were extremely good and often stole the show. I put this under a neutral because it seems they were given more to work with than the main characters even though they are only minor.
4)The movie was quite rushed and for people who haven't read the book (a.k.a my mom) it got confusing at times. I don't have my Twilight book with me right now but I heard it's around 400 pages. Yes, cramming 400 pages into two hours seems like a hard task. But with simple division, they could've slowed it down a little bit more.
Cons:
1)Jasper's face. I know he's supposed to be ';resisting'; but wow...he must have been trying REALLY hard.
2)Overacting. I love Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson to death but sometimes they seemed like they were overacting. In the ';tension-filled'; scenes, it looked forced.
3) How the heck did they fall in love? I couldn't figure it out in Twilight even after reading the book 3 times and the movie made it even clearer that I was missing something.
4)Did I already mention Jasper's face?
5)The Billy Black and Edward Cullen staring contest as they passed each other in the car. What...the heck...was that?!
6)Why was Billy Black driving when I'm pretty sure he was paralyzed from the waist down?
7)The flashbacks were unnecessary. They could've used that time to add more from the book so that the movie made sense to people who didn't read it.
8)I wish they had put in the Carlisle's office scene where Edward is explaining what happened to Carlisle. That would've helped.
9)Edward was more of a controlling bipolar person in the movie than he was in the book.
Overall, as a semi-Twilighter (the Twilight series and I have a love/hate relationship), I give the movie a B-. But if I wanted to tell the truth, it would be a C-. Good to see if you read the books, confusing if you hadn't. Now that I know there's going to be a New Moon, and how much money they made off of Twilight, I'm sure the bad things will get better...hopefully.

I LOVED the movie and it has bee out 4 days so far and I have seen it twice in a row and I'm gunna go see it again. I loved Linkin Parks and Muse's songs. Emmet dancing was funny. Alot of people don't like Rose, but I love Rose, she's pretty, funny, and excuse her for telling it like it is people if I was in the movie I'd be on Rose's side all the way. Bella is an idiot and idiots shouldn't be allowed to date, shine, sexy, Silver volvo owners or even wolves. In my opinion Edward and Jacob are both too good for Bella. she got on my freaking nerves every time I saw her. She is so freaking self-centered. I had a character like her before, everyone tried to kill her except her cousin wouldn't allow it. I hate Bella and don't think she should be able to live. When they where talking about La Push, if I was Rose I would have walked over there and said '; How about I La Push you off a cliff'; and walked back to Emmet and 'em. I think Bella's too forceful on Edward, I mean come on give the guy a break, he loves you, it's not everyday someone falls in love like that. I believe once you meet someone like that you take it and hold onto it forever, not push and push and push for more. I ahted her for that. She DOESN'T DESERVE EDWARD OR JACOB!!!! Girl, you and I think so much alike. I loved all the scenes you named, and I some of the things you did. And bella practically over-stuttered in the hospital scene, but I think Kristen played her well.
For the most part I agree with you. It isn't likely, but it would be nice if they were to replace the scriptwriter, director, and producer for the sequels. They had a lot to do with the screw ups. But I don't think I'd mind seeing a new Bella, although I'm sure Stewart has already been contracted for the next movies. I will admit I haven't finished the book yet, and I saw the midnight showing of the movie Thursday, and I was expecting more than what they gave. I am really surprised how bad they did for a book that did so well. I can't imagine a Harry Potter movie being done as poorly as this one.
A lot of people were and still are comparing this series with the Harry Potter series, and I hate to say it (because I prefer vamps to wizards) Harry Potter movies win that contest by a long shot. I can't compare the books as I haven't even finished reading Twilight, and I never read past the first Harry Potter book.
The movie was enjoyable because the story was good. I've notice a lot of people saying it seemed rushed... I'm slowly getting that as I get further through the book... and at the same time it was slow. There were scenes that were unnecessary to cut and unnecessary to add.
I have pretty much the same feelings about the movie, I could not stop laughing at the faces edward was making in biology. They were hilarious. And the sex, money, sex, cat scene was hilarious. My fav scene was the baseball scen. I think the camera work seemed rushed and like you said choppy. It seemed very low budget, AND AM I THE ONLY THAT NOTICED THE LAME LIFETIME CHANNEL MUSIC THEY WERE PLAYING THE WHOLE TIME????? That was what REALLY ruined it for me, but overall I was satisfied I'd give it a B-/C+
The movie was way better than I expected. My favorite Charlie lines were when he was talking about pepper spray:P I didn't like the sparkling since it was barely noticeable. The music was awesome. The baseball part was cool. Yeah the whole movie was actually great and they stuck to the book pretty well. The movie was also really funny so I think a lot of people will like it.
pros:
1. It was funny. Especially Charlie.
2. The person who played renee played it awesomely!!
3. Alice was really good for the movie she played it well.
4. The fighting scene. It was played really well. but didn't exactly look like a ballet studio, but it was still pretty good.

3. They hardly showed the Cullen's.
4. it jumped around alot. like when she went into the forest i was like ';where are you going?';.
5. They could have put in another half hour to add the little details and make it a little more put together.
6. jacob. i don't like his hair. its not bad. im just saying i dont like long hair.

Alot of people don't like Rose, but I love Rose, she's pretty, funny, and excuse her for telling it like it is people if I was in the movie I'd be on Rose's side all the way. Bella is an idiot and idiots shouldn't be allowed to date, shine, sexy, Silver volvo owners or even wolves. In my opinion Edward and Jacob are both too good for Bella. she got on my freaking nerves every time I saw her. She is so freaking self-centered. I had a character like her before, everyone tried to kill her except her cousin wouldn't allow it. I hate Bella and don't think she should be able to live. When they where talking about La Push, if I was Rose I would have walked over there and said '; How about I La Push you off a cliff'; and walked back to Emmet and 'em. I think Bella's too forceful on Edward, I mean come on give the guy a break, he loves you, it's not everyday someone falls in love like that. I believe once you meet someone like that you take it and hold onto it forever, not push and push and push for more. I ahted her for that. She DOESN'T DESERVE EDWARD OR JACOB!!!! Everyone else was perfect, I HATED BELLA THO! She was the only bad part of the book and the movie, it made me so mad. If you have a comment about ym remark text em at (405) 537-1457. Girl, you and I think so much alike. I loved all the scenes you named, and I some of the things you did. And bella practically over-stuttered in the hospital scene, but I think Kristen played her well.
For the most part I agree with you. It isn't likely, but it would be nice if they were to replace the scriptwriter, director, and producer for the sequels. They had a lot to do with the screw ups. But I don't think I'd mind seeing a new Bella, although I'm sure Stewart has already been contracted for the next movies. I will admit I haven't finished the book yet, and I saw the midnight showing of the movie Thursday, and I was expecting more than what they gave. I am really surprised how bad they did for a book that did so well. I can't imagine a Harry Potter movie being done as poorly as this one.
A lot of people were and still are comparing this series with the Harry Potter series, and I hate to say it (because I prefer vamps to wizards) Harry Potter movies win that contest by a long shot. I can't compare the books as I haven't even finished reading Twilight, and I never read past the first Harry Potter book.
The movie was enjoyable because the story was good. I've notice a lot of people saying it seemed rushed... I'm slowly getting that as I get further through the book... and at the same time it was slow. There were scenes that were unnecessary to cut and unnecessary to add.
I have pretty much the same feelings about the movie, I could not stop laughing at the faces edward was making in biology. They were hilarious. And the sex, money, sex, cat scene was hilarious. My fav scene was the baseball scen. I think the camera work seemed rushed and like you said choppy. It seemed very low budget, AND AM I THE ONLY THAT NOTICED THE LAME LIFETIME CHANNEL MUSIC THEY WERE PLAYING THE WHOLE TIME????? That was what REALLY ruined it for me, but overall I was satisfied I'd give it a B-/C+
The movie was way better than I expected. My favorite Charlie lines were when he was talking about pepper spray:P I didn't like the sparkling since it was barely noticeable. The music was awesome. The baseball part was cool. Yeah the whole movie was actually great and they stuck to the book pretty well. The movie was also really funny so I think a lot of people will like it.
pros:
1. It was funny. Especially Charlie.
2. The person who played renee played it awesomely!!
3. Alice was really good for the movie she played it well.
4. The fighting scene. It was played really well. but didn't exactly look like a ballet studio, but it was still pretty good.
5. music. loved it!!!!
6. edward looked almost exactly how i imagined he would be. it was amazing.
7. acting. awesome only i wosh robert pattinson used his english accent. it would have made him more yummy. |:o)
cons:
1. THE MEADOW SCENE. i was pretty upset with that. They didn't show a field. but when they did show the TINY part of the meadow, it looked like a rug. i was like, you've got to be kidding me.
2. Edward sparkling. He looked like he was sweating. i expected more.
3. They hardly showed the Cullen's.
4. it jumped around alot. like when she went into the forest i was like ';where are you going?';.
5. They could have put in another half hour to add the little details and make it a little more put together.
6. jacob. i don't like his hair. its not bad. im just saying i dont like long hair.
7. they wernt very true to the book. i know there tiny details but...
a. the computer wasnt old
b. she didn't make the dinner
c. they never planed to go to seattle
d. charlie had the truck at the airport, billy and jacob never dropped it off.
yeah there little thing but, you know...
all in all it was pretty balanced. although i expected more from the movie. it seemed to go by really fast. But what can you do, the book will always be better.
I THOUGHT THE MOVIE WAS AMAZING! I laughed at tons of parts. It was very good, great actors, scenes, but the only thing was that since there was a book, the book had more DETAILS than the movie.
You got a hefty list there! Me being a fan of all the books, and watching the movies twice..I absolutely loved the book, AND loved the movie.
