Why do people think Robert Pattinson wrote ';the river flows in you';?

It's not the song that was used in the movie as bella's lullaby but people seem to think that it's the one robert wrote for the movie and it just didnt get used or something. I know for a fact the the song was written by Yiruma so how did Robert Pattinson even become associated with it it the first place??Why do people think Robert Pattinson wrote ';the river flows in you';?
There are many deeply, deeply stupid people in the world, that's why. Many of them frequent Y!A more often than any of us would like *sigh*.Why do people think Robert Pattinson wrote ';the river flows in you';?
he didn't write it yiruma did.
probably because people know he wrote one used in the movie and it just seems romantic to assume that he wrote the one used for Bella's lullaby, which in my opinion wasn't very lullabyish
You got me.

Most people in this category don't think much of ANYTHING about ';The River Flows in You.';

I challenge your statement ';the song was written by Yiruma.';

People get it confused with this Pattinson fellow because the song was in reality written by Pettersson, Allan Pettersson (they get the names confused, I guess). Who else but Pettersson could compose such searing polyphony? The ORIGINAL version of the the song ';The River Flows in You'; (';Det blir stilla d氓 kr氓korna d枚r'; in it's original language) can be found here on this disc of Pettersson's complete songs: http://www.amazon.com/Allan-Pettersson-C鈥?/a> The version ';Yiruma'; put his name on is a very distorted reworking of the piece; I suggest you buy the linked CD immediately if you care to hear the original. I really hate when people get these things messed up.
People could also be getting mixed up with the fact that one or two songs that Robert Pattinson did write are on the soundtrack.
