How long does it take to film a scene for a movie?

Today Robert Pattinson was filming a scene for his new move right around the corner from my house, like it's so close I walk there with my friends all the time to hang out. but I have a summer job, so i didn't get to go see him with all my friends, I'm off tomorrow, do you think they'll still be filming? How long does it take to film a scene for a movie?
my friend was an extra in a movie, and the filming was from 7:00 to 1:00. That was 1 sceneHow long does it take to film a scene for a movie?
just filming a three minute commerical takes almost weeeks, so i suppose if it's a whole scene there's no doubt it'll be in the same spot. They definatly won't relocate the scene. you should be able to make it tomorrow.
it takes a long time, considering how many different angles and shots the director wants. They might still be there but it depends on how long they've been filming.

If you watch Making the Video on MTV, it normally takes 3 days to make an entire video...which ends up being only 3 minutes.
